So it turns out that when you get married during a pandemic, you have two weddings. One wedding is with reduced numbers and close friends and family and the second is a full-on party with questionable drinks involved.
Wedding Part 2
Hannah & Dan planned their part 1 wedding while wedding restrictions were still in place, which meant sadly that they could only have a limited number of guests at their wedding. The limit didn’t make the wedding any worse, in fact, it was one of the best weddings I’ve been to, full of emotion and happiness.
This did mean that they had to have a part 2 wedding with all their friends, live music, a dance floor, and one hell of a party, which they chose Regen Centre in Riccall for. Obviously at the time restrictions meant no dance floor and they didn’t, they had no-mans-land instead.

Regen Centre Wedding Photography
As the Regen Centre was only walking distance from their house, both the bride and groom walked to the wedding venue. Hannah had forgotten her wedding flowers, so I legged it back to their home and caught up with them and photographed them walking to the wedding venue. Where all their wedding guests were outside, cheering and greeting the married couple.
In the Regen Centre, Hannah and Dan had printed off wedding photos from their first wedding day and dotted them around inside of the Regen Centre with a slideshow of the wedding photos too.

Regen Centre
The Regen Centre was the perfect wedding venue for a wedding party. It was local to where the bride and groom lived in Riccall. Funded and operated by the community. It is also a registered charity.

Normal Wedding Day
The weather was amazing, and ridiculously hot, which meant drinks started to flow pretty quickly. Everyone was outside the Regen Centre, it was perfect for documentary wedding photos as everyone laughed and caught up. Dan’s friends also had a signature drink; GILK. I’ll let you try and work out what’s in that.
The day ran like any normal wedding really, there were speeches, which the best men did a quiz. Specifically to embarrass the groom. A cake cutting and a first dance with City Walls playing.
Boris Johnson Pinata
There was a surprise for the bride and groom as I had gifted a giant Boris Johnson Pinata from Pinyatay for them to smash open.
